WEST COAST/HAWAII FAQ

As of January 2006, Hawaii to/from West Coast USA is an E-Pass with a confirmed/reseated seat booking, replacing the old Airtech voucher that used to be accepted the day of the flight without reservation.

•  Make your purchase on the following pages;

•  Whenever you're ready to fly email hawaii@airtech.com or call 212/219-7000 Monday-Friday. The new E-Pass can be booked within 4 days of your travel date and once confirmed you'll have a reserved seat. (Again, you must have already purchased your E-Pass to reserve a seat.) Please allow at least 24 hours prior to travel. Same day bookings are possible but not guaranteed.

•  Price:

Prices vary for weekend, summer and Christmas holiday travel – those dates are noted on purchase page. You may change your date of travel by simply paying the difference, if applicable, from one season to another. E-Passes are good for 1 year from date of purchase.

•  Once within 4 days of travel, and if we confirm your final reservation, changes can be made only with 24 hours notice and a $25 change fee per E-Pass.

•  If within 4 days of travel, the date you select is unavailable, we'll default to the following day(s) until we find a seat for you. Airtech posts a weekly updated flight list to guide you to the best/most available flights.

•  Currently there are 2 flights/day from LA & SF to Honolulu & Maui ( 9AM & 1PM ). Schedules subject to change. Summer flights to Kona & Lihue start and stop dates are listed on purchase page. Flights to mainland USA are normally mid-afternoon & late evening.

•  Easiest travel periods are low-season midweek. Busiest are mid-December thru first week of January; school holidays (Presidents' Weekend; Springbreak [early March - early April]); and mid-July to mid-August. It's possible to travel even during peak season(s) but be prepared to be flexible with actual departure date(s).

•  Refunds/Extensions:

Refunds are given anytime after purchasing, but prior to confirming your reserved seat booking, less $25 the purchase price per E-Pass within 1 year of purchase; you can extend E-Passes after 1 year by paying a $25 fee.

•  Transfers:

To another person - $25 per one-way

To another Airtech program (Europe, Mexico , etc) - $25 per E-Pass plus the difference in ticket price, if any.

•  Luggage : 1 carry-on baggage; 2 check-in pieces.

•  By contractual agreement, Air-Tech discloses airline names only after we confirm your booking date.

No frequent flyer miles.

Airtech flight passholders: Your  westcoast/Hawaii flightpass that is less than 12 months old will be accepted as a credit of $139 dollars, you will pay the difference in price at the time of booking, you will also need to fax us the original flightpass with the word VOID written in large letters across the face of the voucher.
